Swansea Cork Ferry Route Update

The re-establishment of the Swansea Cork Ferry Route, essential for regional economic development, is being supported by a package of incentives from the Port of Cork and Failte Ireland. It has also been proposed that the route is eligible for government aid of up to 30% of the cost for a three year period.

QE2 on its Final Visit to Cork

The famous cruise liner, the Queen Elizabeth II (QE2), is on its final visit to Cork, berthing alongside between 1st and 2nd October.

Port Invests in Cargo Handling Infrastructure for Ringaskiddy Terminal

The Port of Cork Company have invested €3.6million in the acquisition of a new crane and hopper as part of an expansion and modernisation scheme for the Ringaskiddy Terminal. The equipment will be installed by the end of the year.
