Saturday 31st May sees the return of the very popular annual Ocean to City race. This unique and exciting race is organised by Meitheal Mara, Corks Traditional Boat Builders, and is open to all traditional & fixed seat rowing boats. The race follows a 15 mile course from Crosshaven in Co.Cork up to the historical centre of Cork City.

Two days later the 2008 Champion Sports Cork City Marathon and Team Relay will take place on the Bank Holiday Monday, 2nd June.

Filling the gap between these two iconic events is the Blackrock Coastal Rowing regatta, hosted by Blackrock Rowing Club.
