Ships to Shore – Maritime Theme for Cork’s St. Patrick’s Festival

The Cork St. Patrick’s Festival comes to life on Saturday 13th, Sunday 14th and Wednesday 17th March. Celebrating Cork’s rich maritime culture, this year’s theme is Ships to Shore when the city centre is turned into a river of boats, sails and anything that floats with the biggest parade in southern Ireland. During the three day’s of the festival, the street bursts into life with FREE family-fun entertainment including music, circus walkabouts and children’s workshops in the on the Grand Parade and boardwalk South Mall. Take a trip down Grand Parade and have some tasty titbits from the Barry’s Tea Market as you kick-back to enjoy the music including everything from Trad, Jive, Soul or Bluegrass, watch the comedy antics of circus workabouts or get creative at a children’s workshop.
