One of Europe’s premier sailing regatta's was launched in Crosshaven on Sunday 13th July. Approximately, 400 yachts and over 5,000 crew members will take part in the week long racing events. It is anticipated that the event will boost the local economy by €10 million. Onshore entertainment in the tented village and in the Royal Cork Yacht Club, host to the event, can be enjoyed by participants and by visitors alike.
