Cork Harbour Open Day

Cork Harbour Open Day will take place on Saturday 4th September 2010. This event is a great opportunity to celebrate and discover Cork Harbour and all it has to offer.

The programme of events for the Cork Harbour Open Day is really taking shape. Tours of Blackrock Castle’s Tower, an Atlantic Sea Kayaking event, the Cobh to Blackrock Sailing race and a car boot sale, are already on the schedule, plus much, much more. You can win yourself a free tour of Spike Island or meet the RNLI crew in Crosshaven. The World Rescue Challenge (WRC) takes place at Custom House Quay. This challenge sees world class rescue teams compete annually in an event designed to challenge emergency service personnel and raise awareness of the global problem of road death and injury.
