The Harbour Management Focus Group is pleased to announce the release of an Annual Report for the first year of implementation of the Cork Harbour Integrated Management Strategy. The report provides an update and further information on what has been achieved, and where progress has been made, since the launch of the Strategy in May 2008.

The first year of the Strategy’s implementation led to progress on a number of fronts, for example: further research on aspects of the Harbour’s heritage; organisation of the Harbour Open Day; the launch of Cork Harbour News – the e-bulletin for Cork Harbour; the hosting of a workshop to examine how Cork Harbour can meet the challenge of climate change; and much more.
